I love Hitchhiker's guide. I would describe that particular form of satire as tragicomedy, cause some of it is funny, but only because it so true and we realise how faulted/condemned/limited we are in our condition :P. Kinda like Waiting for Godot and Rosencrantz and Guildenster, except less rational and more philosophical.
