I did a border of life remix... oh wait I forgot to post the link <_<
Ahem. Anyway, I haven't done anything with StepMania yet because I keep looking at the garbled fonts that are supposed to be Japanese and I can't stand it... I have to get Japanese working on my computer first or I'll rip my hair out ;_;
It's a really strange problem... if you really care, you could always look at my forum post on the issue:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...54#post2423254
The important part:
It appears that the issue is the local system, because Japanese shows up just fine over the Internet in unicode most of the time (but some sites need shift-jis) and all of my file folders in Japanese show up perfectly as long as the file or folder in question isn't on my computer (if it's over the network it works just fine). What is going on?
It's really annoying me, especially because I had it working perfectly before, but then, through a series of long and unimportant events, I had to get a new computer and after building it this time it doesn't want to work <_<
EDIT: Fixed it! Unicode is working now. It turns out I forgot to tell my computer to use it after installing it :V
The good news is that, in the process, I wasted time installing fonts, so I have close to a gig of them... Overkill.
Now after I get everything off of my dad's PC I'll get to work. (and test the Xbox Controller Driver).
