my veiws on gay people:
i'm doing a homosexuality unit in school and , according to catholic faith "it is alright to be gay, just as long as you don't engage in sexual relationships."

so what does that mean? it means.. it's alright to feel a certain way, it's just not alright to act on your feelings.

for the record... i totally dissagree with this .

in our society, discrimination, for any reason, be it religious, or the way we were brought up kills us emotionally. if people wern't so insensitive to other people, the world would be a better place. unfortunately, this will NEVER happen. and that's alright. people as far as i can see, will have their own oppinions, but that doesn't make what your doing wrong, or right.

as far as "gay people bringing up kids/straight" , they survayed kids that have been brought up by gay couples, and most of the kids, (were talking around 95%here,) said that they would not be gay. if anything, these kids will be more sensitive towards predgidice .

i've heard many people using the word gay as a derogatory term. each time i hear it, i remind people not to say it. i have many gay/bisexual friends and i know that there all good people. i myself am straight, but in the big picture, were all the same.
