oftentimes if you fall asleep with your mind full of thoughts, your mind will dream of some of those things after you fall asleep. that happened to me last night... i had surgery this morning on my mouth, and they said that i couldnt eat anything after 8 hours before the surgery. so, when i went to bed i was obviously thinking about how hungry i was. later, i dreamed i was eating popcorn
