Drinking helps furthering the mood you're already in. So if you feel great, if you drink you'll feel SUPER GREAT. If you're sad or pissed you'll feel even worse. I don't know if this is true, but for safety, I make sure I'm always feeling GOOD if I want to drink. I would never drink because I was having a bad day.

Yeah that actually sounds about right, I've seen people who were bummed become really depressing after drinking and people who are happy are always crazy, jumping around and dancing.
