yay my turn.... just had to say it. ok well here my spin on the world.
1. i do believe in aliens and all that crap. because it seems like way too much space for just us. But, if the big bang theory is right, and the chemicals that started life HAD just coincedentally mixed together, then matbe we are the only ones.Think about it, what are the odds of that shit happening. just the right amount of just the right chemicals, and poof, life. plus, then you think about, how a living creature was created, like a plant. no single element nor compund does waht a lifeform does. How did it start. how did awarness start, when did it begin. then you think about the basic elements, thake carbon for example, we are mostly carbon. yet carbon is best known for its gasious state, but are bodies are hotter than the air. so why doesnt the carbon sublime? if it is bonded with something else, the bond would break and it would evaporate.
All of life requires the macroelements C, H, O, N, P, etc., as well as a set of trace elements including Fe, Mg, and others (Fig. 1.1). These provide for a diverse set of functions including structure (such as C, H, and O in cellulose fibers), oxidation-reduction (such as Fe as a cofactor in enzymes), and others. Take humans as an example. The concentrations of at least 22 elements in humans have been determined; these range in total amount in a typical live individual from 35 kg to 1 mg. From information on the quantities of individual elements, we can calculate the stoichiometric formula for a living human being to be
H375,000,000 O132,000,000 C85,700,000 N6,430,000 Ca1,500,000 P1,020,000 S206,000
Na183,000 K177,000 Cl127,000Mg40,000 Si38,600 Fe2,680 Zn2,110 Cu76I14 Mn13
F13 Cr7 Se4 Mo3 Co1
(sorry, the formula doesn't fit well in this).
That is, there are about 375 million H atoms for every Co atom in your body. This formula combines all compounds in a human being into a single abstract "molecule." This formula sets the value of the scarcest substance (cobalt, mass in humans 3 1 mg) equal to a stoichiometric coefficient of 1 and shows relative amounts, not absolute ones.
so, with all of the above, soesn't it seem really odd that it just "happened"? But then again, so does an "ultimate being" the odds of that are just as scarce.
2.yeah, we all know that the gov'y does some really shady stuff, i too believe in splinter cells, but every gov't has them(in most 2nd,1st world countries).
3.releasing viruses into the world is the easiest way to create a demand for your software. it's sneakiy and wrong, but it is dine by many companies.
4. Africa does not exist, neither does the middle east. i walked for 15 min and couldn't find either of them, thus they don't exist.
5. oh yeah, ever since the creation of fort nox(forgot how it is spelled), EVERY call is monitored, if one of the numerous "trigger words" is spoken, the call is saved in the files, departments revue it, and the n they decide wether or not it is a threat.
ok, this is an awsome thread ^_^
