you're not fast now so you wouldnt know how hard it is to actually read super high bpm **** and move your fingers to it.
i'm pretty much AAing quasar 2.0. go read that, tell me it doesnt require skill. i'll bet money you can't even pass it.
edit: and you're right, i can't get the same scores you can on easier ****. IMO MA comes more naturally, some people have it, some people don't. yes it improves with practice, but only to a certain extent. speed on the other hand is built strictly on training. i believe everyone can build up their speed to even surpass most of stepmanias elite players, as long as the time is put in.
in closing, speed takes alot more skill then timing.
