PS2
-larger games
-MUCH better graphics
-dvd playing
-more games
-faster loading
PS1
-NONE OF THE ABOVE

-Games are comperable to PS2
-Surpasses the PS2 in raw computing power and graphics.
-Dvd playing
-Fair loading (haven't seen a PS2. would need a person who has both side by side.)
-Games are made much more for all audiences. (on a PS2, a good portion of the games are rated Mature. If you have a parent that will not allow those kinds of games, then you have a much smaller range of games to buy.)
-There are fewer games on X-box than PS2(unless parents stop mature ratings.)
