My mom still hasn't learned that I don't own a GameBox or an XCube yet.

Even if it doesn't get renamed, it will still be the most popular console ever. Once people start telling / showing their friends how awesome it is to play and how much cheaper it is to get one over a PS3 or 360, the news about how great it is will trickle down until it gets to everyone.

Hahaha, I get that one from my mom a lot, Gamebox. Never heard XCube, though =/
Anyway I don't think this will be the most popular console of next gen. It'll probably be an almost 3-way tie next gen with PS3 and Xbox 360 both close together unless Sony decides to commit FSCKING SUICIDE and sell their console for under $499 (supposively it costs, what, at LEAST $800 to build one PS3). It would also be suicide to sell it at or over $499. They'd still be losing a lot of money and not many people would buy it.
On the other hand, the Xbox 360 and Wii both cost much less to make, and the Wii costs even less to buy, so they'll get good share of people who are scared away by a large price-tag.
