Everyone who is a online gaming veteran has accidentally typed pwned in their lifetime. It got popular because of this and now people purposely do it. I think the level of noobness on this thread is so high I seriously can't listen anymore. POWER OWNED? WTF that's almost as bad as like PRE OWNED and all this other crap noobs come up with or noobs tell noobs.

It became popular on Starcraft. I'm 100% sure about this I've been an avid online gamer for a loong time...like I said I know what I'm saying.
