Oh yeah, finally watched those poison brace videos (took forever to load for some reason) and I am not impressed. I was 3-4hk'ing things that I could easily 1-2hk at his level. Only impressive thing I've seen out of poison was when I ran into some 80+ FP mages at Gatekeepers. They sealed and slowed them, hit them with comp some until they got poisoned then wailed on them with FA (I don't think their comp arrows were maxed yet so FA outdamaged them). It was pretty schweet, really.

And uh, zombies? I'd rather go to Pangs. I can 2hk them most of the time now for 220 exp. Zombies I would 3hk (I think 2hk might be possible but REALLY rare) for 190 exp and crappier drops. I mainly like Grupins because it's close to a town (and I can drop trade my tails for my pure int to EQ them) and because Grupins have such a huge amount of MP (160 instead of Pang's 100) so I never need pots. Also, I can't idle at Pangs cuz of the cold, which is annoying but not horribly limiting. I definitely won't go to zombies though. Worse exp, worse drops, and worse crowd to deal with. About the only people I see at Pangs are people passing through to Coolies, which is actually pretty rare.

PS: I would hit for more damage if I was the same level as you. =(
