Re: One less wisdom tooth = one less unit of wisdom
I got all four of mine removed last year... no swelling or anything.
And I think they did the same thing to you that they did to me, just local anesthetic and gas... except I have a feeling they gave me a lot more gas because I was basically chilled the **** out for the whole hour. My only memory is a hazy image of the doctor with his blue mouth thing hovering over me. And at first it was just like... hmm I'm tingling. Oh now I can't feel my body, but I can still move it. And then I was chilled out.
Afterwards (also on percocet) I was incredibly docile. Like at the time I thought I was in a completely normal state of awareness, but looking back I realized I wasn't. Like it didn't even occur to me that the **** they had wrapped over my face and whatnot would look weird to people that saw me. And if I did realize it... I probably wouldn't have cared. But that's opiates for you, I guess.
