I think alternate stepfiles are still being considered for Remix, as I really like that idea. But it would take awhile to get the stepfiles done... I'd rather they fix the off-beat/buggy songs first... anyways I think this is better than just changing the timing effects.

Also, I think the Marvelous timing would be a good idea, and they could have that set up as the Perfects were on the last game, Perfects were really hard to get in the older versions.

Or just download the .43 version in the Download section of this site and play the older songs with the older timing to your heart's content.

I like the new timing effects just the way they are now. A lot of ppl complained about the timing before the sudden massive .64 change and wanted it more like DDR and now it is. Enjoy the change, and once again, if you don't like the change so much there's also SM and FFR v.43 d/l.
