All you guys saying to break up are silly. What most of you fail to realize is that when people voice their problems, they ONLY voice their problems. I'm sure there's plenty of good stuff that happens/has happened between them that he isn't saying because he's focusing on the problem and trying to fix it.
On that note, part of the problem is that you focus on the problem. Focus less on what you're doing wrong and how it can be fixed and more on what you're doing right and how you can enhance that. It's hard to fix weaknesses but easy to exploit strengths, and since this is probably some terminal non-long-term high school relationship, it's better to go the easy route and overshadow the small errors with big awesomeness. If you're going for longterm though, flex the awesome muscle while still worrying about the problems, because they'll come up later to bite you in the ass.
But anywho, it's not a big deal if you guys don't talk, except for the reason
why you don't talk. Usually not talking shows that there's nothing
to say, which means you probably don't have much in common. This, however, does not mean you should end it immediately, since it's probably just a high school have-fun relationship that isn't too serious, like I assumed before. What you need to do is find out what she likes. Hang out with her where her friends might randomly show up and LISTEN to what THEY talk about. Find something in what they like that you have some sort of interest in and work off of that. She's obviously not with you just for talking, whereas with friends it's different and she'd HAVE to talk to keep that up.
And even if there isn't really anything you have in common with her, suck it up and do things she likes and hope she returns the favor. If she's one of those girly girls who loves to go shopping and you're a typical guy that hates that, get the hell over it and go to the mall with her. Girls like it when guys do things we all know they hate to do JUST for the girl. It shows that you care at least that much.

I may be wrong, but I'm fairly sure those are boys, not men. Neither are perfect, but the latter aren't so bad after the learn a thing or two.
