RE: Warcraft III Frozen Throne/ Reign of Chaos
RTS games are very hard, I admit. At first, and for aobut 3 or so months, it took me so long to get good. Now I love to play FFA games like crazy.
FFA games are awsome because even a mediocre player can make a huge difference in the outcome of the game (mediocre, not noob. Noobs just feed exp to whoever is lucky to be closest to him). I prefer going orc and getting a Farseer, then Blademaster, and then usually either Alchemist or Shadow Hunter, usually Alchemist only for Transmute because microing an Alchemist to chase a runaway hero can be a bitch if your enemy is stubborn and you're still fighting (one of the Alchemists most useful traits is taking down runaway heroes), and Shadow Hunter does a better job at healing.
Personally, I believe Wc3 is so micro intensive, it isn't funny. Even after a year of playing on and off on FFA games, I'm only kinda good. I wish I had Starcraft because it's so much easier >_>
And EB, TFT custom games are a lot better than RoC =O Just the two most popular: DotA: "Pornstars" (actually it's Allstars, it's just a joke) and Footman Frenzy are enough to keep you entertained at least 15 plays of each.
