DBP is mostly the entrance + re-entrance near EoD. It makes me feel like he had to rush something to make an impression rather than just joining the group and looking at his options.

Sure that was interesting on the moment, but why was that necessary ?

It just felt like "hey, I'm here, I'm important, here's the truth you've been waiting for" kind of deal. It does work for stirring votes, but we had pretty much barely almost no time to evaluate him.
