Games like Tokyo Extreme Racer, Star Wars Battlefront, Devil May Cry, God of War, Pacman World 2, Every FF game that generation, Persona 4, and a ton of other games are good examples of this

The amount of "underrated" or unknown games from this generation is probably the highest I've seen of any gaming generation. I've been playing games from this generation since when I could hold a controller and I'm still finding great games I've never heard of or rediscovering games I played a long time ago
