Knowledge is subjective in that regard. What's fun for you may not be fun for someone else, and vice versa.
Layering jumps can be as well. Maybe someone wants to accentuate a certain part more whereas someone might ignore a certain instrument in their stepping for something else.
Xel brings up a good point regarding resources, but even so. Sometimes it's just as simple as placing a note or 5. We all start somewhere.
