Given how my power works, and how Gradiant just flipped, I'm going to assume that the info he had that I didn't visit Soundwave came from the fact that he saw me visit somebody else, which is true.

This makes me think that whoever he had in his inn he got to track from then on? So it's entirely possible he got info about visits regarding several people, and one of them was wrong.
