If you were to do that and stop trying to chart things by doing Ctrl + r and quantizing the results, 1. People will stop complaining that your files are off sync 2. You're going to save yourself a whole bunch of work.

That's why it's the first thing people are going to mention when giving you feedback. They're not trying to insult you, they're not trying to question your ability to play the game, they just want to help. Surprisingly enough most people want to see you succeed.
