The executive branch includes all of trump's appointees and cabinet members. The legislative branch is congress, these people are NOT appointed by Trump. The judicial branch is all federal courts but more importantly the Supreme court . These justices are appointed for life so that they are not biased to electoral or party pressure. These 3 branches check eachother. Trumps appointees dont check eachother.
