117 BPM jacks wouldn't be terrible on FFR.
They would technically have uneven frame gaps, but less than 150 BPM and the difference between gaps tends to be much, much less of a problem (3 to 4 frames is much less noticeable than 2 to 3 frames)

The bigger issue is that they were split jumpjacks, and there's no chord cohesion = extremely hard to keep constant in multi-measure jacks, even at a slow speed (see: Death Piano)
