Ok, if you're having trouble as soon as it starts with the jumps, play MaxX on Standard. The middle-end of the song is nothing but jumps. If you can easily get through that then Heavy shouldn't be a problem. Also, go to DDRFreak.com and look at the step chart while listening to the music. It'll get the patterns ingraved in your head. While this doesn't sound like it helps, most of the game for DDR when you reach the really hard heavy songs is knowing what to do and when... what's coming up next, when to turn, etc etc. Either that or get StepMania.

And I have to disagree about LoM or PSM being the hardest song. LoM really isn't that hard... it's only the speed, not the arrangment of steps. I call it Drop Out on crack. PSM is the same as PS but 20 bpm faster and the steps are re-arranged. As far as I'm concerned, the arrangement of steps for PSM is easier than that of PS. The hardest song is between So Deep, Max300 or MaxX. So Deep because it's chaotic, and a lot of people can't handle those kinds of gallops and not in that number, 300 because it's pure, and sometimes intense, stream, and X because, in a way, it's chaotic. For a song that's 320 bpm, the steps are somewhat chaotic.
