Last week I gave a lecture for 600 freshman students. In the middle of my presentation, students suddenly got restless and I figured out why when I looked back at the projected slide which had disappeared. Powerpoint had shut down and other programs followed. We had to wait for 10 minutes until the Windows Updater had updated everything.

Still better than the previous year, when I was video-skyped by my mom when I was giving a lecture.

Oh, and this morning I was sleeping, which doesn't make for a great story.
