Re: 10th Official FFR Tournament - Round 1 Songs
These are opinions from one sightread playthrough, and I reserve the right to change these opinions at any time.
Rainbow Road: Loved the song. Feels like a great, happy way to start out D1, even if the file had a few tough patterns for round one.
Polargeist: Pretty easy file but fairly relaxing to just listen to. Not as drum 'n bass as I was expecting.
Session: The file was alright, the song was kinda boring. I had moderate success on the file, so I can't complain too much.
Fill Me Up: I'm a sucker for smooth jazz and this hit the spot. Great file that I had success on and as enjoyable if not more than Yellow Leaves for me.
Truth: Now is when it's out of my do alright zone. The file was dubstepped, and captured that pretty well. The song was fine, nothing too crazy.
Lexus: I don't remember this one, but it was hard. I think there was a string of notes where I felt I was doing well, so that tends to indicate a well-made file in my opinion. The music I guess wasn't too memorable since I can't recall even a small section. :/
Pandemonium: It's a Xi song. Nice piano once it picks up, so enjoyable to listen to. The file was tough and had some rough bursts, so I did quite poorly. I don't think it's a bad way to start off D7.

When the game isn't fun for you anymore, take a break. It's not a job, nobody here is professional and getting paid to play and force themselves to constantly improve... it's a game.
