I'd bump up your speed mod a bit if you're using distant. Unless it's comfortable for you right now, then that's still fine.

Keep playing songs that are harder than what you can handle. Always push yourself a bit. If you don't push yourself, you're gonna have a harder time improving.

Just keep at it, is all I can say.

Otaku's Dream Anime packs are usually what new/not good players play in.
You can check out the pack list and download whatever packs you feel would have easier files.
