That statement was generally raising awareness at how diverse the skill levels in the top divisions are. Kinda goes beyond the spectrum of the tournament and I feel I'm getting off topic.

Not to sound full of myself or anything but I think I've always been pretty solid in placements and getting people pretty close to one another. It's impossible to have 100% perfect placements because people have different strong points. But this is also why I do cumulative scoring tournaments and try to make sure I pick a diverse song set that stresses all different skills so that say one person may suck at jacks and not have a great round for one round but is awesome at trills and does awesome over their competitors in that.
There's really only so much that can be done. If we keep making more and more divisions it's going to eventually water down the competition too much. There needs to be a reason to push yourself harder and try to improve I think. Being at the bottom of my division in tournaments is what pushed me up to where I was.
