While I am not based in the UK, I know there's a few people who lurk around the site who are. The profile search has a feature where you can find people who have told the world on their profile that they are from the UK with the following link:

I'm sure they'll eventually find this thread and give a shout. But for those who don't that link should help you find them. ##
