I grew up during the massive hysteric hype of pokemon in the late 90s. When 2nd gen came out, shit was outta control. the map was huge, tons of shit to do, 16 mother fucking badges (yet to see this happen again), a massive amount of nostalgia going through kanto and what I consider to be the best last boss in gaming history, the battle with red.

3rd gen came out and completely disappointed me. did not live up to 2nd gen's monster gameplay. everything felt bland and was stale gameplay coated with trumpets

i think gen 3 was the worst in terms of story, but gen 1 and 2 were really fucking bad in every other aspect (music, sound, mechanics, gameplay, fucking glitches)

tbh I was hoping that nintendo would just release dlc of the other regions, but a remake of a bad game is tight

make it way better than it was
