Default Re: FFR has never been faster

And I'm glad you can play comfortably without lag

But goddamn, that speed. Maybe I'll get to catch a glimpse of it at AN next month :P

This right here. It sounds pretty awesome.

See how the gap between the orange right arrow and the white up arrow following it is wider than the others? To have that come in just as I start going the other way is a recipe for dumping goods. Stian would have the opposite problem by having two arrows compressed into the same frame by speeding up Freedom Dive.
Just to clear up some confusion, this isn't true. Rated songs aren't limited to frames, so using rates does not create new framers or frame issues. It does of course retain the frame issues of the source chart, but the sped-up charts do not introduce new inconsistencies. Basically this is because it first converts charts into ms timing and then scales them at millisecond resolution. Additionally, because the score timing windows remain the same size, using >1.0 rates actually reduces the impact of framers and makes them less of a problem overall.

Yup, replays are still limited to frame timing when the rated charts aren't locked to frames anymore. Causes issues when there's a whole lot of keys being pressed sometimes >.>
