Consider High Quality Most Woo Audio Amps/ More over 1000 dollar high end amps. Paired with Stax Sr009's, HD800s, or the LCD series.

in addition to more than likely having transcodes (i didn't know how to check at the time but now i do), i don't have a dedicated headphone amp (it's on my sound card) and only have HD555s which isn't even mid range according to this criteria
