You're considering it a "jack song" when it's far from just jacks. The ending is jack-heavy, but most of the file is constant jumpstream with mini-jacks and bursts, and overall a different skillset than Retro City.
Also: "what the hell is up with the jack files for D5" -- this is only the second round and this isn't jack-heavy up until the ending.
