edit3000: yeah I think I understand what leo meant. There's nothing you can do to solve it, there's just ways to bide your time. For me it usually lets up after a while and I don't feel nearly as bad as before. Taking pills doesn't work though, I've tried them and people said I was like a zombie.

If you can simply "ignore" or "take your mind off" of depression, chances are you are okay. Depression is a disease. It requires medical assistance.
