seeing as how i've managed to beaten it (only 6 months after first playing ddr, too), maybe i can offer some tips, too

dAnceguy117: crouching low is actually worse for your stamina because it forces your feet into inefficient positions. however, crouchin low DOES improve speed of your feet, so in that last 8th note run, it could be very useful.

what i've actually found helps stamina is toe-tapping. i've found that in the 6 months i've played, i've developped insane calf muscles, but unfortunately, calf muscles are only really used when jumping and when you're on your tip toes. if, like most people i know, you've developped stronger calf muscles because of ddr, take advantage of it and do as much of the beginning you can using as much of your calves as possible, but not like ballet style tiptoeing. just don't go flat foot.

and remember, don't be ashamed of holding onto the bar. for a song like maxx unlimited, people won't look down on you.
