I suppose you are right, Psudo's questions could be asked about other things. I just believe that the comparison was too steep in terms of the level of importance, compared to what a forum does, this friend's list removal issue is rather minor.
I'm not even sure why you brought such comparisons up in the first place honestly. If this thread started off without such severe distaste for those who removed users and simply requested for this feature to be implemented (or at the very least a removal on both profiles), it probably would have been taken a lot more seriously. Remember that I still agree with this happening, but I'm rather baffled by the level of importance some people place this issue at.

I used the forums as an example because it is clear that Pseudo uses them considering he's here. I doubt making a reference of equivalent "importance" would have done much in this situation. The importance of each thing here is also subjective to the user itself. Originally my point wasn't to say how many people it is important to, but that there are people it is important to.
Also, I wasn't taking Pseudo's answers as merely a response to the friends removal issue, but as to the social networking on here as a whole.
"Also, what in the ****, why the notification? This isn't god damn Facebook. Just make it so it's a mutual termination. If Person A deletes Person B as a friend, they are off of Person B's list."
This response coupled with the one afterwards (and there were others making responses in a similar fashion so it's not just directed to Pseudo) make it like an attack on people who use this site for anything besides gaming and/or the forums.
