Hello, this is gamingfreak3 (the person responsible for the content you are questioning) and I would just like to clarify that is a technique we here in the Guitar Hero community tend to refer to as "Zig zag alt tapping."

Here are the method specifications:

Parenthesis = right hand fretting Non-Parenthesis = left hand fretting
