Default Re: I need some new music.

If you don't like the Assemblage 23 song that DarkProdigy picked, his older stuff is different (and better, in my opinion). Not gonna hunt down a bunch of videos, but I'll list out some decent bands with songs of theirs that are bossome. Dunno how many bands that were popular at some point you listen to, so i'm gonna list them too.

List is Artist - Song;

The Absence - Awakening
Alice In Chains - God Am
All That Remains - This Darkened Heart (I'd stay away from the Overcome album, and idk if they have one after or not)
Arsis - Maddening Disdain
Behemoth - Christgrinding Avenue
Between The Buried And Me - All Bodies
The Black Mages - J-E-N-O-V-A (Final Fantasy music converted to power-y techno metal stuff)
Blaqk Audio - Stiff Kittens
Catamenia - Kuolon Tanssi
Chevelle - Family System
Darkest Hour - Fire In The Sky
Darude - Bitter Sweet
Dave Matthews Band - Dreaming Tree
Deftones - Digital Bath
Depeche Mode - Never Let Me Down Again
Dethklok - Bloodtrocuted
Dimmu Borgir - Allehelgens Død I Helveds Rike
Disarmonia Mundi - Cypher Drone
Distured - Deify
Dream Theater - Under A Glass Moon
Dropkick Murphys - (F)Lannigan's Ball
An Endless Sporadic - Impulse
Fatboy Slim - Bird Of Prey
Fleshgod Apocalypse - Thru Our Scars
Foo Fighters - Everlong
Godsmack - Voodoo
Gojira - The Art of Dying
Gorillaz - Dare
Incubus - Sick Sad Little World
Insomnium - Change of Heart
Into Eternity - Splintered Visions
Joe Satriani - Mind Storm
Lamb of God - In Defense Of Our Good Name
Liquid Tension Experiment - Paradigm Shift
The Mars Volta - Eriatarka
Megadeth - Good Mourning/Black Friday
Metallica - For Whom The Bell Tolls
Michael Jackson - Billie Jean
Moby - Porcelain
Mors Principium Est - Pure
Nile - Permitting The Noble Dead To Descend To The Underworld
Nine Inch Nails - Ringfinger
Norther - Chasm
Opeth - Windowpane, The Grand Conjuration (two songs because they switch between soft and hard frequently, sometimes in the same song)
Orbital - Meltdown
Orgy - Eyes-Radio-Lies
Pearl Jam - Jeremy
A Perfect Circle - The Outsider
Primus - Mr. Knowitall
Puscifer - Indigo Children
Queens of the Stone Age - First It Giveth (although honestly you'll have to listen to each album cuz they change every time)
Rage Against The Machine - Ashes In The Fall
Rammstein - Bestraffe Mich
Reaper - Jagd
Reggie & The Full Effect - Apocalypse Wow!
Russian Circles - Youngblood
School Food Punishment - you may crawl
Serj Tankian - Feed Us
Seven Nations - Pound A Week Rise
She Wants Revenge - Out Of Control
Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm
Soundgarden - Fell On Black Days
Staind - Open Your Eyes
Stone Temple Pilots - Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart
System Of A Down - Boom!
Tool - Lateralus
Trivium - Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr
Tsuneo Imahori - Never Could Have Been Worse (It's the Trigun soundtrack, if you watched and liked the show)
U2 - New Years Day (I'd say stick to the old stuff)

Avoided a few bands that are nearly impossible to not know about like Iron Maiden, and bands that have been listed already that i could recall, and some soundtracks as well that i have that are pretty awesome. Hope it helps.

Edit: Just thought of some more, might not be able to give a song.
Stabbing Westward - Control

Bush - The Chemicals Between Us
Combichrist
[X]-RX - Stage 2
Ozric Tentacles
Behold... The Arctopus - You Will Be Reincarnated As An Imperial Attack Spaceturtle
Deadmau5 - Some Chords
Eisenfunk - Pong
SITD
Wolfsheim
Mogwai
