People need to lay off. Not saying that the quoted poster is wrong here, but we're well aware of how to take care of things. I appreciate the concern, but we're alright.

I talked it over with Kayla and we're on terms with the team again. Not sure if she came to an agreement with what I told her - basically I said to her that she'd still be responsible for the entire team (since well, it IS hers, lol) and I'd still be there helping out in the same way that I have been. I removed the administrator title from myself on the forum because I felt like I've invaded Kayla's position as leader multiple times without any concern of how she felt or what her stance on something was. I know that I've helped with a lot of things on DF, but there's also a lot of things that I've tried doing without her approval and I shouldn't be doing that.

I'm still supporting DF 100% in everything that I do, but I demoted myself on the forums to ensure I don't go over her head in anything anymore. Me having the moderator title puts a note in my head that I'm no longer splitting the leadership with Kayla because I'll be asking her for any sort of ideas I might have. My role on the site will pretty much remain unchanged - I'll still be a head judge and I'll still be responsible for converting files and whatnot, but as far as making any advancements (like the forum move and stats, which again, was another thing that I tried starting BEFORE telling her) for the site, I won't be doing any of that without permission anymore.

It's just a safety and it ensures that the person who started the team remains in control on their own.
