ohhh what a dick. and i disagree, i think playing video games does help humanity. You change lives of the people you kill in FPS. you learn to channel your anger into the people you shoot. if you have enough determination, you play enough to be one of the best at that particular game and people all over the gaming community admire you.

Your just changing a different aspect of the world.
