Definitely sounds like old school raiding. Intelligent attempts vs more attempts seems to be the way to go.

Also, the extent of my PVP experience is limited to Arenas because my friends do them. I used to go to battlegrounds a lot more when they were structured, but once they connected several realms as a huge battlegroup so most bgs were pugs, I grew sick of them. Not only that, I would die pretty much 3 seconds into any fight.

When dual specs came out, although I specced PVE disc intending to use it on raids because I will probably be doing more main tank healing in the future, I tried it out today in Arenas when Season 6 came out. We won 14 arenas and lost 7. That's 14 more wins than usual. And all of a sudden, PVP got a lot more interesting because it's no longer do our weekly 10 for arena points.
