Any random person in the game can get amazing crap.

If your entire PUG were composed of 'random people' who hadn't already been in there repeatedly with groups that were much better geared than they were to -get- well geared enough that they could bring along random undergeared people without wiping on everything, you'd find an entirely different experience I'm sure.
