Exactly what I was pointing out. Thank god our judicial system has rules to it and isn't ran by emotion. Think of it from a lawyers point of view. I've seen much, much, much worse in terms of animal cruelty videos. If you really want to get over hyped, watch a terrorist beheading. That cat video is nothing compared to what is out there. There are people who deserve to die for the crap they do, this kid just deserves juvenile hall, a fine, and whatever else animal abuse laws dish out to minors.

Anyway, why the hell should he be tried as an adult? He isn't an adult so he won't be tried as one. Personally I think that the punishments for juveniles should be the same as those for adults, the crime is the same whether it's committed by a 46 year old man or a 12 year old girl.

Kids should be tried as adults because the crimes are the same? Hell no. The person doing it has all to do. It is a proven fact that teens do not have the same mental capacity as adults. They do not function the same way. They do not think the same way. They do not rationalize the same way. Kid's brains are not as developed in the area of rationalizing between right and wrong, thus they are never tried as adults.
