You can take a look at that and see what's the lowest type of card you'll need to run it and decide if you want it run better with a new card. New games are coming out all the time, ones like Half-Life 2 are using state of the art technology and it's hard to get the full playing experience without using the best equipment. So it's also a good idea to base whether you'll need a new card or not on what other games you'll be playing in the near future.
