Default Re: Is anyone else sick of...

It's hard to define a good 'post' in comparison to good 'content'. Depending on the situation a post like "e=mc˛" could be absolutely full of content that everyone enjoys/understands, even though it only contained 5 characters.
In my opinion a good quality conversational thread consists of:
● People who can relate or give fully explained opinions
● People who are posting because they feel they are ether correct or feel the need to convince people otherwise
● Posts that generally aren't one liners. Unless you are directly answering a question a single sentence post should not be possible in a quality thread. Even if you are answering a question, one should supply 'too much information' or a little more then necessary.
Ex. Question: "Do you really think that Datastor HDDs 'suck' because [insert argument here]."
Answer:
Good, but pointless
"Yes, Datastor HDDs 'suck for that reason."
Good, and continuing the conversation
"Yes, Datastor HDDs 'suck for that reason, and though you may disagree X source of information has continually convinced me."

Now that's pushing it with examples. Enough of that.

"What exactly are you looking for in these forums?"
I want to see a flame, spam, and bashing free community. I'm looking for people who wish to try to be accepted. Those who fail to follow rules because they are too lazy to read them, or those who knows the rules but are pure 'A-Holes'... they do not deserve to contribute to this forum until they smarten up.
