When I first started, a really good tool for me was this:

You can use it to look for the lowest difficulty songs in the game, and AAA accordingly. Then once you've got all the "1" difficulties, try and go for all the "2's" It's just an organized way to go about AAAing stuff.

Oh, and practice, of course. =)
