Re: Piano Etude (Demon Fire) PDF <DOWNLOAD LINK IN FIRST POST>
Reach, you don't know me. I have abnormally quick learning skills when it comes to the piano. And talking about hacking my way through something? Did you miss the part where I am a piano performance major in school? I am currently the top pianist in the undergraduate program. Don't judge me by your own skills. The Moonlight Sonata is not hard at all if you are really good at arpeggios, which I happen to be. When I played the song, it was done in a professional matter, which we are required to do in order to pursue our performance degree.
Ugh. I will ty to make the time to prove to you that I can learn this piece. This summer would be the only time and I have to learn 5 NYSSMA accompaniments and 3 Rachmoninoff pieces during that time, not to mention Tass wants me to record a rag for him.
Also, please do not criticize me on this, because you don't know me nor do you know what I am capable of.
In conclusion, just because something is hard for you doesn't mean that it is hard for everyone else. I've heard plenty of "professional" pianists play something that I can play better. My teachers have told me that I was a prodigy back when I was younger. Don't underestimate me.
