Default Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)

Even on the highest graphical settings, the textures still aren't great. I know it's my graphics cards fault, but the textures aren't my main concern.

The controls are NOT the same as any other MMORPG. In a regular MMO you can simply change your view from behind, using your rightclick on the mouse, and hold the forward button. It then moves you in the direction your camera is facing. None of the three perspective settings do this in CABAL.

The path mapping DOES suck. By path mapping I am talking about the boundaries that prevent the 3D models of users characters from walking through another object in game. Characters, for example, have a collision size of 1. (It may vary.) However buildings have a collision size that fits the size of the 3D model.

I find that if I'm trying to walk around a building, and I clip the edge just SLIGHTLY, I will get stuck and walk forward in the same place. In WoW and GuildWars, if this happens, you simply glide along the edge of the building until you reach an unpathed area.

Understand now?

Edit: If anyone wants a fully tagged MP3 soundscape, please PM me.
