Well, I'm for it, a level is a level, I don't see why the gauges shouldn't count all the levels (I actually wasn't aware they didn't, heheh).

The way I look at it, if you're somebody who cares enough about your gauges to really want to fill them as much as you can, then you're planning to get as good at this game as you can get. That means getting good enough to unlock skill tokens; they're part of the game too. And, if you're somebody who's casually playing, there's a chance (not 100%, but a chance) that you're not going to care about the maximum number possible, but instead, how many you can get. Look at all the beginner skill token levels; I'm sure a lot of beginners would like to receive a little more credit for FCing or even AAAing those songs.
