Pfft, I can give compliments.

Tamborin Chinois (pardon the spelling if wrong) is extremely fun and had some unique patterns. Rhythms were varied, making it an extremely good song choice.

Balloon Fever is inconsistent, but that's Kilga's style, which he shows much expertise in executing as the patterns are extremely fun. The 8th note jump thing later in the song is ridiculously fun and unique because of the rhythm, and it's probably the highlight of the file. It's layered quite well, and the song choice is pretty good.

Frozen Rain is a very cool, but slightly repetitive song. Behanjc puts many flowing patterns and fun rhythms in the song, and the streams fit the music quite nicely. The jumps are reasonably placed and there are a few unique traits to the file.

There. Constructive compliments for 3 random files I enjoyed. I'm not always negative. I'm just too SM influenced. :P

P.S. Tested scottish's file just today earlier back. It's a really cool file, and got an extremely positive review from me.

And BDN, I guess it depends on how avant-garde the file is. If you're really pushing it (like I'm about to), probably not, but if it's something not as significant (see my PARANOiA), it shouldn't be a problem. Oh, and for the record, Balloon Fever is not really an avant-garde file, it's just really creative. Haven't played Kagami yet.

EDIT: Played Kagami. Have to say, it was somewhat fun. However, there were a few places where the file could have at least followed the music better. Decent, but not great. I can see how this could be avant-garde though.
