Squeek, I've played in tournaments for quite a while now.

No one has ever told me I suck. I have never told anyone they suck. I've never even heard of it happening.

There will be jerks in any game, but most people in SSBM are nice and just wanna have fun.

But well, if you go "oh, you can't win without that ____", people are gonna, as you said, be jerks about it.
